I haven't been keeping up posting intakes and adoptions. We have adopted out 59 birds so far this year. Some birds were in the rescue for almost no time at all. Maya (DYH) and Snowball (Goffins), were both with us for over 1100 days. They all stay with us until the right home comes along.

And we are down to six lorries!

Of the 117 birds who made it to our rescue from Weston, we have only 21 left. There have been so many adoptions!

I'm surprised you still have the golden conures and the vasas because they are unusual enough to warrant a lot of attention from prospective adopters, no?

Goldens are loud enough to deter those looking to keep
Them inside. I also think they have to stay in RI. Not sure.

They do look weird.... I wonder what happened to those follicles and whether it was from trauma or a congenital defect.
